  • July 2026 - Alice Thompson has joined the group for a six week summer placement funded by a Manchester Department of Chemistry Undergraduate Research Award. Welcome Alice!
  • July 2026 - Dave and Gemma are co-authors on a collaborative paper lead by Prof. Peter Junk from James Cook University on europium formamidinate complexes, now published in Dalton Transactions.
  • July 2026 - Hannah has passed her PhD viva - many congrats Dr Redmill and very best wishes for the future!
  • July 2026 - Hannah and Gui's paper on the reactivity of heteroallenes with an yttrium silylphosphide complex is published in Dalton Transactions.
  • June 2026 - Egor (George) Kokin has finished his two month PhD internship with us and now returns to the University of Oxford with Prof. Mike Neidig. Thanks for everything George!
  • June 2026 - The group attend the Manchester Chemistry PGR Conference. Sam and Ahmad present posters.
  • June 2026 - Dave is named the University of Manchester Doctoral College Faculty of Science and Engineering Supervisor of the Year. Thanks to all the group and especially the nominators!
  • June 2026 - Hannah's paper with Dr George Whitehead and Dave on carbon dioxide activation by a yttrium phosphide complex is now published in Organometallics as a flash communication.
  • June 2026 - A collaborative paper on uranium ketimide complexes led by Dr Conrad Goodwin, together with the groups of Profs. Steve Liddle and Nick Chilton and others at Manchester and ANU, has been published in Inorganic Chemistry.
  • June 2026 - In collaborative work lead by Jack, together with the Chilton group, we report near-linear dysprosium amide-cyclopentadienyl single-molecule magnets with magnetic hysteresis up to 92 Kelvin, now as a preprint in ChemRxiv.
